Have you heard about PHP?
When our CEO’s son was 1-1/2, he was diagnosed as autistic, and the first place our CEO ran to was PHP (Parents Helping Parents). She was able to gain the information needed through seminars held there about Special Education, what parents should be doing, and what autism even is, and many other topics. The days where she was too busy to go, she got ePackets, which helped her gain access to different resources that she needed.
PHP helps families who have a family member with special needs. Their resource and service staff have been helping families with infants with special needs to those in their 50s and 60s with special needs. It’s never too late to contact PHP and ask for their help! PHP also supports siblings who have the responsibility to care for their special needs family member. Check their site out here: http://php.com
There are currently many events and educational meetings every day. Take a look at their events calendar here: http://php.com/events
