3-Minute Film on Autism – “Humans of San Jose”

Happy Holidays!

This is a short film made by a sister of a boy with ASD. You can hear what he is thinking when trying to communicate.

Quoted from YouTube

A 3 minute film based on my brother’s autism. (You can probably make some cup noodles while you watch this.) It originally was a class assignment and I thought, “Might as well get this out there as it’s a rather personal thing that might be nice for me to share.” So here we are. I was inspired by “Humans of New York” when working on this, hence that title. But no one in this film is related in any way to the project aside from the fact that I am a fan of the project. For those interested to know about the project, please take a look at the Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/humansofnewyork It’s an awesome and beautiful project that holds a lot of power. Special Thanks to Marilyn Bird for letting me film some segments of her therapy session with my brother. Music used in the film is “The Piano” by Olexandr Ignatov and “Causal Strings Bell 1” by AudioDragon.

Enjoy the film!
