What My Autistic Son Thinks Smart People Are

When I was doing homework with my autistic son, he began to say that he would become smarter.

I joked with him and asked him what kind of person is a smart person. My son, who has trouble with language, began spelling out what a smart person was:

Be smiling.
Happiness
Be honest.
Proud of myself

I’m amazed. 🙂
